A Reliable Natural Gas Supply

VEGAPULS 6X delivers reliable and accurate measurement data despite the poor reflective properties of liquid gas

Natural gas production in the United States has been steadily increasing for almost a decade. This has been made possible by oil and gas companies that extract valuable hydrocarbons trapped deep underground. Once a well is sunk and made ready for production, companies such as Blue Racer Midstream process the unfiltered natural gas flowing from the well into usable products for refineries. VEGA measuring instruments support this process.

Continuous Level Measurement of Acetone with Melted Rosemary

To produce natural rosemary extract in Slovenia a continuous content measurement for several tanks was installed. These work with the capacitive measuring principle, which is becoming increasingly popular, and have been configured for special process connections. Compensation for the materials caking to the sensor was crucial for the reliable determination of rosemary acetone.

Together with UWT Partner Sensor d.o.o. after some on-site tests, the capacitive level sensor NivoCapa® 8000 was implemented for the content notification.
